Anyone here familiar with this SigSauer thread protector?

I need a discrete thread protector for an AR15 and the one below fits the style I'm looking for and is cheap, shipping charges notwithstanding.

I couldn't find it on SigSauer's site and therefore opted not to call the customer service number.

Can anyone tell me the approximate outside diameter or whether it'll look "flush" with a regular AR15 threaded muzzle (.625" Length, threaded 1/2-28)?
