The Dinky™ wanted to flip over when trying to sling it and shoot it from the hip.

I had heard about a shoulder sling where it could be held waist level and not want to twist by attaching like the Israelis by the front sight.

The IDF just tie sling the cords to it, but the Americans had to be complicated and use the paper clip mount.

I FINALLY sourced one WITH the adapter strap. Leaving it in the original wrapper wasn't an option.

It goes great with my older brother's Vietnam service uniform jacket.

I was thinking about picking up some of this wire sleeving to quiet mine down, and not melt to the gas block.

For those looking for the sling mount, it’s an “Adapter kit, top sling.”

Just use some OD a green para cord. Will be quiet as well.

Pull the inner cords out, cut to size, melt the ends so they don't fray.
