Another vote for the LMT.

You just cannot go wrong with the MARS-L.

As a lefty, the bolt catch/release on the right side of the receiver is of great use for me.

The only issue I had with the MARS-L was finding one in stock.

My Seekins Billet is Ambi. I think I paid $250'ish for it.

Seekins looks like only an ambi release.

PWS MK1 MOD 2-M is another fully ambi option.

I guess I'm tempted to categorize this with the Radian; it's just different. Apparently, if the bolt is in battery, pressing the RH button will catch the bolt; if the bolt is open, pressing the button releases it. I am not sure how it's done, but it does perform both actions.

THe MARS-L is incredibly overrated. LMTs quality control has been beyond poor in the last few years, and on top of that, better ambi lowers exist. Look into the Radian ADAC and my personal favorite is the Griffin Mk2. Both are also much cheaper than the LMT with a better system for ambi bolt release.

I wish HK made a civilian legal version of my work rifle lower. It is a great design.

The LGS has a ZRO Delta rifle with a right-hand bolt release (not fully ambi). In fiddling with it, the release is not easy to depress with the trigger finger. The ambi control loses some of it's performance edge, if I need to break my grip to apply enough force to overcome the mechanism. That may be something worth scrutinizing, if one was shopping for one of these uppers.

Don't forget the LWRC lower is almost an exact clone of the LMT with the exception of the safety and fire logos not colored in like it's an H&K.

One disadvantage to this design of ambi lower that also effects the LMT is if you're using an upper like the BCM that moves the forward assist closer to the brass deflector, that will interfere with the bolt/catch release on the opposite side and not lock into the lower.
