50rd Boxes at Aim Surplus $19.95/bx. Best price I've seen for a while on 357Sig.

Hornady Critical Duty

That is a pretty good price. I've never tried 135gr ammo in that caliber. All of the Speer Gold Dots I used to carry were 124gr.

Many thanks for this heads-up, Robert!

Besides the Flexlock, this price is also for the 50 round box of 135gr training ammo.

Thanks guys, just ordered 500 rounds of the critical duty. Cheap enough to continue feeding my 229 and 239, and can use it for carry in the 239.

Thanks for the kind words and the 'heads up' on the FMJ practice rounds.

Got my 1K today, came in 2 factory sealed 500rd. boxes addressed to the PA Game Commission.

I'll get to try it in a few weeks at my next range day.

Robert - Thanks Sir for posting this sale link. I just ordered four boxes today (June 26th) and they are still on sale.

Now for SIG to introduce the P365 in the .357SIG caliber Big Grin

Any reason not to use it for carry in P229?

Thanks for posting this. Just ordered 500 rounds of duty and training. $19.95 is a price that I would expect to see on a box of 20 rounds.

I got to say that Aim Surplus is super-fast. I ordered 4 boxes on 6/26 and received them on the 27th. They are only 200 mi away, that's moving pretty fast for them and UPS.

ETA: After thinking about what a great deal this is for grade A ammo, ordered 6 more boxes. Smile

My four boxes arrived today. This is a good looking round. Now to get a 357SIG barrel for my P226 40cal pistol Big Grin since I currently do not have a pistol set up for this caliber.

D_Steve - I, like you, have decided to order another 6 boxes after receiving my first order. For this price it is hard to say no.

I shot some this past weekend in both a P226 SAS/DAK and a P229 SAS/DAK. It shoots well, and it is a bit less recoil compaired to other carry ammo I have used.
