You need to clear your browser cache, bendable. Make sure you delete cookies. After you do that, reboot your computer and you should be fine. If the issue persists, try a different browser.

thanks
by golly I think that worked,

should I see a screen that tells me what all got deleted?

in the 9 years we've had this , thats the 1st time I 've done that.

would that have deleted her side of the computer also
or does she need to go in and do the same?

If you both use the same login name it cleared her too. If she uses a different login than you, she's still same.

Thanks much,
Is there any reason that doing the above would make an 9 y.o. computer run noticably faster?

Or am I imagining things ?

I delete cache and cookies every day. Sometimes multiple times a day. If you did not do that for 9 years you had a TON of junk in there. No wonder your computer is running faster.

I'm no expert, but a couple days ago I ran C Cleaner on my older laptop.

In fact, I ran it twice. It deleted a lot of crap and now it boots up quicker and runs better.

I didn’t even know they had a ‘purchase’ option. The ‘free’ has worked well for me.
