Can I get classified permission? I’ve been a member for 20 years.

At some point in the past, I removed your access to Classifieds.

Tell me what happened. A keen memory will be beneficial for you.

I have absolutely zero idea. I don’t post much and haven’t look at the classifieds in years.

I believe you, and I think I understand what happened.

It took you two days to respond to my question in this thread.

You didn't monitor this thread, even though you were making a request.

I'll wager that you posted an ad way back when, and then you didn't check on it daily, which is required when you use Classifieds here.

Someone asked you a question, and you didn't respond, then I tried to get your attention, and you didn't respond because you were not monitoring your ad.

Then, I removed your ad and revoked your access to Classifieds, and the kicker is that you didn't even notice that, because your response to my question to you in this thread is "I have absolutely zero idea." Just a guess, of course, but it's a good guess. It's happened many times here.

It frustrates members when they can't get a response from a seller, and it wastes their time. It frustrates me when I can't get the attention of a member who is using our bandwidth to sell their stuff, and it wastes my time.

You may think I'm just being a jerk about this, but I'm being as fair as I know how to be. I do not remove a member's access to Classifieds for trivial reasons and I'm explaining all of this to you in order to give you a chance to get back in.

It's your business if you want to look in on this forum only every couple of years, but if you place an ad in Classifieds, you are required to monitor your ad every day it's up. If you cannot or will not do this, you shouldn't place ads here.

What would you like to do?

Ok. I just wanted to look in the classifieds. Not a big deal. I’ll move on elsewhere.

So, you would rather just leave than say "These things you mentioned won't be a problem"?
