My avatar, and other pictures I post in forum messages, have stopped working (displaying). They show the forum's default "bad link" icon. I can right-click on any of them to "open in a new tab", and they do open in a new tab and display properly, so the URL is not in question. I've tried changing my avatar, and the forum software replies that it was updated successfully, but it does not display.
 
This behavior is new, certainly well past when the forum software was updated. Any help appreciated. I do use the Vivaldi browser, which is Chrome based.

Henry, you should clear your browser's cache and restart your computer. If the issue persists, try using a different browser to see how it behaves.

The problem turned out to be the "Chrome issue", and the fact I use the Vivaldi browser, which is Chrome-based.
 
I host my pics (and avatar) on my own domain, and, like SIGforum, have ever since been "unsecure", as I had no need for an SSL cert. It was solved by placing a free SSL cert on hup.org, and creating a redirect so any requests to hup.org using http will automatically be redirected to https. Right away this makes all of my old pics work going back all the years I been posting them here using http.
