You likely did not inadvertently report anything. When you want to report a post, it asks you the reason for reporting. You have to consciously give the reason, and I’m betting you didn’t do that.

I accidentally hit that Report icon all the time, when trying to hit the Edit one on the tiny cell phone. I simply went back.
