What kind of times are you seeing for this Glock Standards test given to students at the end of this course?
I heard anything 25 seconds or under considered excellent.

It's my understanding that anything under 20 seconds is extremely rare. 18:42 is impressive.
My son just attended the training and was under 20 seconds. Looks like the young man may be getting pretty good. Smile

If he’s under 20, he’s got it going on. That kind of time doesn’t leave any room for error.

Doesn't look like much room for error on these standards. My Son was only able to shoot it once but hopes they will return in the future. His department has moved toward performance based training when they adopted their new handgun/optic at the beginning of the year. Times are a-changin.

I attended the MOS Instructor workshop with a brand new G45/ACRO combo and cruised to a 22.xx on the standards. Only afterward did they tell us that getting it under 20 resulted in a special award.

Correction: I just found my scoresheet. My time was 24.01.

Had a cold run today with G43x from concealment. No penalty 23.54.

Over that past several years, I went down the small/thin gun rabbit hole and my 43x became my favorite out of the several I tried. I have a P365x and Hellcat as well. The size of the 43x, especially the grip, makes it very fast and consistent when drawing from concealment. It might not be as small as the other two but it's small enough. I also trust the simplicity and reliability of the pistol. These pistols can be shot very well at speed as you demonstrated.

Still a great time, jlm.

I know there are lots of members here who have been through this class. I would love to hear their feedback.
