Based on what I see any more, any S&W wheel guns, especially san the clinton lock, under $400 is almost a must buy...condition will dictate it as well. But a great condition is almost a no brainer. Stainless guns are easy to correct scratches and such.

What is the number and letter on the inside? Should be a 3T IIRC. I always go up one size on T-grips, put K on J, N on K. Fits better and fewer gaps. "While not every Democrat is a horse thief, every horse thief is a Democrat." HORACE GREELEY

The only marking under there is either a 7 or a 1...hard to tell for sure which. It's in one of the little casting circles half under the clip. ----------------------------------------------------------- Any comments made by this poster are my own and do not reflect the views or opinions of my employer.

Here is an N frame T-grip on a K frame. The T-grip on my M18 K frame (not the gun pictured below) is marked 3 T on the inside, and IIRC is correct for a K frame square butt. The newer T-grips may not be marked, or marked differently from the originals. "While not every Democrat is a horse thief, every horse thief is a Democrat." HORACE GREELEY
