There are a bunch of brands of red dots that fit that footprint.

I went with a Holosun.

There are even more if you are willing to use an adapter plate.

Just FYI-

The AXG type slides are already RMR cut.

I have one, and Maple Leaf did the cut. It's an older Type 1 RMR (I'm a poor) with a Battleworx anti-flicker plate. It's got somewhere upwards of 5K rounds through it and a couple of battery changes with zero problems. I even used it for the Sig red dot instructor class because Sig dragged their feet getting us our new duty guns and they didn't make it in time.

The only thing I don't like is the tinted glass on the RMR...it's distracting and makes shooting with backup irons, especially in low light, kinda suck. I don't know...maybe the Type 2s are clearer. I know the glass on my 407C and Romeo 1 Pro are definitely clearer.

I think the 407C is the unsung hero of the Holosun lineup. If you don't use circle/dot, you get everything a 507C is minus that feature for less money.

I could not agree more. The one I bought from you has been solid, and especially on a defensive handgun I don't need the reticle options because I'm not focusing on the dot anyway. My astigmatism is actually a benefit in that respect...if I want a bigger dot I just bump the brightness up a bit until it blooms.

I've jumped into the P320 pool with both feet.

I have a Leupold Aimpoint Pro on one. I have a Trijicon RM06 waiting to go on another when I find someone to mill the slide.

Yes, I had my my first P320 milled for an RMR by Hayes Custom Guns. Sold all my 320s and switched to Glock. Fast forward, I was itching for an X series and picked up a P320 LDC Pro last year. It already came with a pro cut slide and I mounted an RMR on it. I used a CH Precision adatper plate to fill gaps and provide the bottom seal. It is a great shooter and even built another P320 last month (Zev ran a killer sale on P320 parts) a Zev Octane Compact with another RMR. My new rule is a P320 gets an RMR and my Glocks get Holosun SCS sights.
