The VikingGot to shoot the 365L Yesterday
I was at the indoor range yesterday and a Sig 365L was on the counter. I said this light pistol is surely going to give a lot of recoil. The guy working there said oh no the muzzle break will stop the recoil and asked me if I would like to shoot it. I said yes. I loaded three rounds in the little pistol and went to the firing line. I was amazed there was hardly any recoil. The triple port on the three inch barrel stopped the recoil. Now I want one!

RogueJSKNo such thing as a P365L... There's a P365X and a P365XL, but no P365L.
(Some folks create what is unofficially referred to as a P365L by putting the long slide of an XL onto the short 10 round P365 grip, but that's not a factory designation, and such a configuration doesn't have a ported barrel.)
Sounds like you're probably referring to either a P365X Macro or a P365XL Spectre Comp, each of which have a ported barrel from the factory.

Scooter123Does Sig even make the original version of the P365 anymore. I ask because I'm interested to see how it compares to my Ruger LC9S Pro, a pistol that is IMO ideal for pocket carry. Kind of regret not getting one when they were available. It seems today that all anybody wants is a 9mm with a 15, 16, or 17 round magazine and optics. Sad to think that a highly regarded pocket pistol has morphed into a giant Gamers gun.

Yes the original micro9 form factor P365 still exists, and sells reasonably well despite all of the recent emphasis on bigger sizes.

Yes, it's still going strong. The rest have their place, but are kind of the tails wagging the dog.
