Who makes the .45acp mags? I have a bunch of them and they don’t seem to me to be as well made as the 9mm mags.

As for aftermarket ETS is looking to start shipping their version in June. I’ve had good no issue with mine for the Glock and will at least give them a shot for range use if the price is decent. Finding an M&P mag for under $20 is difficult but can be done occasionally.
