I have a love hate relationship with this pistol. For a .22LR it is incredibly reliable, has the ergonomics and dimensions of my PPQ M2s, and shoots plenty accurate. That being said, it has been back to Walther twice. I got a new slide the first time. This time the left sideplate rail broke. Fortunately, Walther has superb customer service. It only took them a week to repair and return it to me which is pretty amazing. But, I can’t help but wonder what will happen next. To be fair, the last time it went back was around 7 years ago and several thousand rounds later. All in all, I can’t complain all that much, especially as Walther is so good to work with. Anyway, the obligatory pictures: ![]() ![]() Pardon the crappy first picture. It was really dirty and I was just starting to clean it when a piece from the sideplate broke off. __________________________

The reliability on these is no joke. I've put thousands though mine mostly suppressed. I think I've only had x2 failures. Both were actually slightly out of battery fires. No damage done except for a louder bang than normal. Round goes down range and slide cycles. There is a roll pin in the slide that wants to slightly walk out a little. Hit it with a punch last time I was out. Need to watch it. Train how you intend to Fight Remember - Training is not sparring. Sparring is not fighting. Fighting is not combat.
