I have one (out of countless guns) that will gain a click of elevation over time and many many a year. A pistol I shot USPSA with, maybe once or twice a season I'd have to click it down one or two. Easily fixed with some type of locker, but not a problem enough to bother. I could look at the elevation screw and see that it's in the right spot.
