As far as the grips, I may have found the solution in the Pro model Talon Grip. I put one on the RXM and it feels great. Haven’t shot it yet but it feels better than factory. If it works out shooting it then I’ll throw the same on the G19 when they come out with them.

It depends upon the exact material used, but as other have said some tend to stick to clothing, and/or get nasty with age, and some of the softer types tends to ware quickly.

Hogues seem to hold up over time. Pachmayrs will if kept away from UV light, otherwise they will become dry, firm, and brittle. The one grip that has degraded just with time is Magpul MOE+ (rubber overmold) AR grips. I put some on a S&W .22LR AR about a decade ago, and despite getting little use over the years, the grip is very tacky.

Yep, I threw one of those in the trash a few months ago. Mine went bad around the five year mark, though. Never again.

They're all nasty, and I've had most of them, Hogue, Pachmyar, CZ, Uncle Mike and RRA (but I think RRA rubber overmold AR grip is made by Hogue).

I hate anything rubbery. It’s nasty feeling. It is hard to adjust your grip with. Is slick feeling with minimal sweat or grease/oil.
Clings to clothing.
Some of the older grips start deteriorating and breaking down. Tried the Hogue rubber finger grooved 239 grips and hated them. Always wished Hogue would make the same grip but in G10 material.
I bought a Swiss Sig-Pro that came with a variety size and textured grips and the rubber grips were trash.
My grip preference is G10 material. It can be easily sanded to remove and aggressive spots. Doesn't easily scratch or crack or isn’t cold feeling like aluminum.
I won’t buy or own anything with rubbery grips!

I personally like the Hogue rubber grips, and have them on all my pistols, and a couple of rifles. I have had a set on my P226 for almost 25 years, and no stickiness or tacky feeling.

For those saying they pick up grime, etc., they are easy to clean. Next time you have them off your gun, clean then with WD40, and they'll be back to new.
