I am happy, I got the slide back this morning. The front sight is now visible in the dark. I am happier to have the 365 back in service than I am the repairs to the sight.

My 2022 one is still OK, with the caveat that it hasn't been shot all that much.

You should have had an exchange kit to a different 365 configuration so you wouldn't have had to do without.

OLD THREAD

Got up at "pee-o'clock" (around 4 AM), looked at the gun sitting on the nightstand and found my front night sight winked out. I'll be calling Sig Monday morning. It has somewhere between 300-400 rounds through it.

This does make a case for a spare (not necessarily identical) gun to carry. In this case, my Ruger Max-9 (virtually identical in size, quality and performance but at this time without a night sight) will fill in.

I bought a used X Macro a few months ago. When I got home, I realized one of the Tritium bulbs on its rear sight is dead, so my bad luck w/ Xray3 sights continues.

Hi Max, how’s everything going up north?

I had to check mine after seeing your post. My front is the TG-H3 and is still glowing. Maybe not has bright as new, but glowing well enough.

Take Care!
Bill

I was wondering how you were doing. Did you get any of the ice? 0 here again this morning. We recently got a 5 year old Golden rescue and we are walking twice a day. She loves to run in the snow.

Danny gave up his FFL and we have seen the end of an era. I bought my first gun from them ovder 50 years ago.

I called customer service and was sent a prepaid Fedex shipping label to print out. Shipped the 27th, arrived the 29th.

Back in my hands. Smile You can't accuse them of skimping on the packing. It came in a foam-padded cardboard box big enough to hold an entire pistol, and that inside of an approximately 12x12x12 box.

Looking at Night Vision sight sets, I don't know whether I have #6 or #8 sights.
Please give me sight height dimensions so I can measure mine...
Also, what is best choice for sight replacement company, (front sight tritium)?
thanx

Response: I've had good luck with both Ameriglo and Night Fusion Sights.

Your factory sights should have a small number enscribed on them, #6 or #8, usually on the flange for the fronts.

Dimensions for Sig sights:

-----------Front --------------- Rear---------

#6- 5.88mm/0.230 in -- 5.80mm/0.230 in

#8- 5.60mm/0.220 in -- 6.35mm/0.250 in
