after shooting mine (and I've only had mine a few months) both before AND after the LTT upgrade everyone loved shooting it...

My older brother liked it so much he bought one (already upgraded by LTT) and my nephew is looking to get one...

My younger brother asked me to be sure and bring it to the range when we go next weekend so he may also be "in the market"...

Good luck with your choice

Bill

I bought mine used online, and the label on the factory case reads: PX4 Comp G (9x19mm) ST + D + HO.
Item code: 2481.

Forgive my ignorance, but could someone please let me know just what I've got here? Is a hammer/mainspring change still a good idea?
Thanks

Please let me know when you change the sights. I had one that I never could remove the rear factory sight, tried freezing and soaking in penetrating oil while using an MGW sight pusher with a shoe.

Would not bulge. Fantastic shooter though.

I want to one of the local indoor ranges today and after I was done making holes in paper, I stopped by the shop side of the building. Saw a PX4 .45 ACP. Didn’t seem to be a mark on the gun, although there were shiny spots on the rails and barrel hood, which made me believe it had been shot at least a bit. Price was $399. Two magazines, no box. Had the proper backstrap on it, for me.
Don’t really need a 45 but I left the store with it anyway. The only reservations I ever had about a 45 was maybe the grip was too big in circumference, but it really isn’t much more than the 9 mm/40.
That’s why it’s a 9+1. I’ll gladly settled for that, as opposed to a big fat Glock grip.

FranMoses, let us know what you think about it when you shoot it. Interested in your opinion.

I purchased a PX4 Storm a number of years ago. I immediately ordered and installed the slimline controls from David Olhasso and converted it to "G" model. I have not put many rounds through the pistol, maybe 200 or so. Function has been flawless. It seems well made. My biggest complaint about the pistol is the grip. It's slick as owl poop. Nothing a set of Talons can't fix, however. I really need to spend more time with the little safe queen. Smile

****Edited to add**** I just looked at the sales receipt. Looks like I bought the pistol in 2006.

Flattest shooting 9mm I own. Besides the hammer spring and the trigger bar, I’ve replaced the hammer with a spurless version. Talon grips enhance the ergonomics immeasurably. Great choice for AIWB carry.
