got2hav1A very nice Smith M27
Well, I picked my 27-2 today. Won the GB bid... the price of admission doubled since I bought my last one in 2014. But it's hard to find these in this condition. I do have some factory target stocks on the way for it. Date '71 or '72. I was told it was in storage for the last 20 years, at which time the owner passed away.

Jim WatsonTarget stocks look funny on 3.5".
I am planning on putting the 8.375" back on mine for Real Magnum Power.

cslingerI always find it strange how some people can see that and think GAHHH A GUN!!! or an anachronistic useless tool, while I look at that as a beautiful piece of "kinetic art".
What a nice gun. May you always shoot it in good health for recreational reasons only.

Couldn't disagree more!! It looks much more balanced with targets vs. magna grips. Sorry but it will be wearing targets as soon as they get here
