I'm sure there are others.

I like it, but my favorites are the G43X and G43 sizes. If Ruger shrinks this down a bit, I might be a buyer. We'll just have to see what comes next.

/QUOTE]I wonder if Magpul's GLOCK magazines are little more forgiving without the metal insert? [/QUOTE]
I don't know about forgiving, but since Magpul makes the frame, I suspect their Glock PMags will work just fine. I use nothing but the PMags in my Shadow Systems guns, no problems at all.
Some have mentioned the grip angle. As someone that has been using Glocks since '99, as I'm sure most if not all of us have owned, and/or at least shot one in our lives, that does not look like your standard Glock grip angle with the Glock "hump."
It looks interesting, in that a YouTuber mentions that the price point would fall some where between a PSA Dagger, and a Get5 Glock 19.
It's only a matter of time before we get a comparison video of the RXM versus a Glock 19.

Anyone else remember when Ruger was bragging on their P89's ability to shoot (without any problem) while a bullet was jammed half way down the barrel? That's the sort of thing that keeps me buying Ruger products.

Wonder if there is a patent infringement? Maybe enough variation form the standard Glock.

Sootch said the angle is 17 degrees (like a 1911) AND that Glock mags will function fine. I find it hard to believe that both of those claims are compatible. No way a mag that is designed for a 22 degree angle will plug into a 17 degree angled grip frame. As Para suggested. It probably is closer to 20 degrees, maybe?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. What surprises me most is the $399 price point, since Ruger pricing has been ever increasing. Example: Local price for the basic LCR is $640.

The grip angle of the molded grip frame does not have to follow the internal angle of the magazine exactly. There is a bit of room for variance between the angle of the magazine chute and the angle of the gripping surface, but the MagPul magazines this Ruger pistol uses are the very same magazines designed to function in Glocks. There cannot be too much of a difference in the angle cartridges are introduced to the feedramp of the barrel.

The Ruger RXM has caught my attention, as has the Springfield Echelon 4.0C. I am a BIG Glock 19 fan. However, I do not shoot with red dots. If at some point down the line I was to switch over to a red dot pistol, it would not be with a Glock MOS gun - don't like the plate systems.
I think that for me, the Shadow Systems MR920 and now the Ruger RXM and Echelon 4.0C, would be the guns that I would look at for mounting a red dot. Of the three, the MR920 and RXM make the most sense - commonality of holsters and mags being first and foremost.
Time will tell if I ever go that route, but for now, the RXM has me interested. One of the local gun ranges will have one for rent at some point shortly, and I'll put one through its paces. No real hurry ...
Just my 2 cents...

Gen3 patents expired I think about 5-6 years ago, which is why the market has been flooded w/ Gen3 clones since then, and why you hardly see any Gen 4 & 5 clones.

I think the legitimate success of this thing hinges on the aftermarket. There will be plenty of people that buy on because it's relatively cheap, but if the aftermarket (companies like Mischief Machine, Icarus, and Brouwer) develop grip modules for it, particularly metal ones, they'll likely to really well.

Suppressor height sights with NO threaded barrel. Worthless.

Hardly. It's designed for use with a red dot optic, hence the taller sights and optic cut slide.
Besides, it uses Glock Gen 3 barrels. Want a threaded barrel? They're cheap and readily available, thanks to the massive Glock aftermarket support.

Pure speculation on my part but I think we might see the removable chassis system in the sixth generation of the Glock.
