hi all, i bought a couple SIG factory 220 mags for my legion but they wont go in, its almost like they’re hitting something on the handle before engaging.... they seem identical to the ones that came with the gun, any ideas?

Boom can you post pics of the one that came with the pistol and one you just bought. Might be hitting your grip screw. Is it 10mm or 45

are they p220 45 mags? 10mm?

did you give them a tap in? also press the mag release in some and see if they go in

We had to return several cases of these P220 .45 8RD magazines for this reason. You can get them in with a good rap. There is a slight difference on the left feed lip that is causing the magazines to get caught at the magazine catch. The other option is to file (carefully) the area that interferes. I don't know when/if Sig is going to correct this.

Is this the reason for the shortage of factory P220 mags?
