My hypocrisy goes only so far

So I see this is a thing (actually I just ordered one from Sig) but until today I didn’t know it existed.
Sig is packaging these (in those blister packs Roll Eyes) with the Romeo zeros they sell vs the ones mounted to their pistols ?!
Does anyone have one of these & have you used / installed it?
Opinions please.
On the advise of the Forum gurus I bought & installed a 407k x2 on my 365x but I’d like to get some use from the Romeo sight & thought this might add some protection for it.
I thought the laser etched logo on the side was a nice touch…. for $30! LoL
If not then I suppose I have yet another do-dad of clutter in one of the parts boxes.

Failing to prepare is
preparing to fail.

I have it on my Romero One Pros as I wanted extra protection and seems to do that yet be unobtrusive.

I also have the 407k mounted on a 365. It is a nice setup but I need a bit more practice with the smaller window. I cannot see ever owning another pistol without a red dot.

Probably makes sense on a carry pistol, since you wear it daily, put it on, take it off, set on nightstand or dresser the odds of dropping it are greater than one kept in a safe for occasional range use...

Looks good too...

I just installed the shrouds on two Romeo 1 Pro sights. Easy install and I have zero regrets getting them.
