Anyone here have a CZ9? How do you like it? Any dislikes? Is the grip that wide or comparable to a P220 with fat hogues?

just sold one on this forum. Felt great, a little heavy, mild recoil. Get the CZC grips for thinness.

Did you sell it because you didn’t like it? Decocker?

The grip feels like if a Beretta 92 was chambered in 45, if that makes sense. I have aluminum grips on mine now, I almost want to say they're a must.
I got my 97 new in 2008, and think it is comparable to the P-220STs in terms of weight and overall feel, but fatter. It doesn't feel like a slick W-German P-220 at all to me. The trigger sucks, but gets better with shooting. Mines a "frikn' laser", as accurate as my Ed Brown Executive Elite.
Take the heft of a CZ-75, and take away the sleek almost Hi-Power feel, and add the heft of a 1911, and that's a CZ-97.

Yes I do, the safety version, not the decocker version. I put rubber grips on mine, now it fits my hand better.

I can't think of anything I don't like, grip is a little wider than a P220 with Hogue rubber.

I also use a 16# recoil spring.

Never shot mine as a stock pistol but I sent it to Cajun Gun Works for a trigger, barrel bushing, grips, sights....pretty much everything they could do to it. It will shoot with any custom 1911 at 1/3 of the cost. They'll have it for 8-9 weeks but it's worth the wait, real good people there. They also did my 75BD, PCR and Rami so I'm a fan.

I put G10 grips on mine, helps alot in the grip area, also did the bushing from Cajun Gun Works and it's extremely accurate and has been reliable.

I only sold it because I didn't shoot it. It ate everything, shot well. It was the safety version. I'm stating to purchase guns that I am able to carry, and the 97 I couldn't carry.

I’ve got the decocker version with aluminum grips that came on it. They’re pretty thin and, to me, feel great. One of my favorite 45’s to shoot. Easy to shoot accurately with mild kick, primarily due to its weight. Compared to my P220 ST (another favorite), they’re very similar in weight, 48-49 oz. fully loaded.

Mine is very accurate, I shoot a Glock 21/20 so I am used to a wide grip.

Exceptionally accurate handgun, wish I had the hi-polish blue though.

Anyhow, they are hard to find, if you see one at a good price, buy it!

Got mine for a steal @ $459.00 IMO.

Never shot one but have handled one unloaded belonging to an acquaintance (it would have been nice to have felt it with a loaded mag). Solid pistol as one would expect from CZ. I would have bought one years ago but have always held out wishing that it becomes available in the great 10MM. With the resurgence in its popularity, CZ will hopefully take the clue from other manufacturers and offer one.

Yes, the gloss blue is beautiful, I had one a few years ago but sold it in a moment of stupidity.
