RHINOWSOIt's like a bad one night 3-way between Umarex, Hogue, and 762Tok.

mrapteam666i would definitely try one for that price
Well let me caveat that by saying if I can put regular straight grips on it.
I like the 7.62 Tokarev round. I have a TT-33 and I love shooting it.

pulicordsDoes anyone know if these "Clones" are patent infringement rip-offs or if Sig and Hogue are receiving fair compensation for what are obvious copies of their patented design/products? I'm not sure I'd feel at all comfortable rewarding the Chinese government for this kind of marketing. By any other standard these would be called "counterfeits."

I’m sure they are not

Dusty78These are actually $288 American if you buy one from the second link. I wonder is just a tok conversion barrel would do the trick in a standard 226.

Il CattivoDo those tend to shoot low too?
No, it would take something like the CF-98 linked to below to really tempt me, and I'd still feel guilty for giving the Commies money. As a poster said in one of the provided links "I won't buy firearms from Turkey."

BisleyblackhawkAccording to the gotenda.com website....these are only available in Canada...no international shipping. IIRC...it's been quite a few years since Norinco has been able to import into the US.

Il Cattivo^^ Yeah, but that's what the blurb in AllOutdoor is really all about - whether restrictions on Chinese imports should be lifted.

220-9erI don’t want to reward cheaters, don’t want to be the test guy for Chinese junk and would much rather buy a good used Sig for a couple hundred more.

And, 20 minutes later you want to shoot it again.

of course it's a counterfeit, but if you want to want to know if there was a patent infringement you need to know details about the firing pin safety. That's the only SIG patent in this pistol and its probably not protected anymore because it dates back to the mid/late 60s of the last century.

And that's the question...they have a long standing practice of ripping off designs that make money or that help them militarily. Sooner or later, we're going to rue the day that we let them destroy our heavy industry....Rod
