I bought a Dan Wesson back in the 80's and when I opened the box, the SN was my date of birth!

My wife's two Glock 26s start with KPD, my old department's initials. Sequential numbered too.

No but I have consecutive serial numbered P2000’s that were bought at two different times. (This was not sought out or done on purpose in any way). Surprised me when I was logging the second one.

Not really cool per se, but I had a P225 I bought years ago and the last digits of the serial number was '0343', that I wish I still had. '343' was the number of fellow firemen who died on 9/11.

Two P225-A1's that contain 522 and 225 plus another nonzero numeral. While the first purchased ends in the reverse of 1225, the second ends with 2225. Never planned to own one much less two but I followed the axiom, when a good deal is found, take it.

My dad was a long time Scout Master and years ago my brother and I bought him a 9422 Boy Scout model. The serial number was 0096. His troop number was 95. I thought it was pretty close.

That's happiness or good fortune in Chinese. So I guess happiness is a Glock 9mm.

Why, what else could it mean?

A gun I've always wanted came up for sale on another forum, and I missed it by about a half hour. I would have bought it, just for what it was and how it was priced. But its serial number was what you could call my "lucky number", a series of number that have shown up in many things throughout my life. That was fate... and I missed it. So missing that one still haunts me.

Cool serial numbers, I know I've shared it before.

TCR87 rifle.

The serial "number" is Jurras.

it was made for, owned by and has a custom barrel made by Lee Jurras.

I've got a S&W M&P .38 Special revolver, Model of 1899, with serial number 225. It was shipped in December, 1899, making it one of the earliest .38 Special revolvers ever made. This model developed into the most widely used police weapon of the 20th century with millions produced. It is still in production today as the Model 10.
