An elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

I have a VERY favorable opinion of the LWS-32, based upon owning two of them. One, from the early Nineties, and one from this century, have been 100% reliable with Winchester Silvertips, and the recent one also similarly reliable with Gold Dots. I was persuaded, by a friend, to sell my first one to him, and he paid me what I had paid for it, new. I had stopped carrying it, due to a policy on personal-time weapons, when I was an LEO. After about a decade, I decided to replace it.

I do not see a Seecamp LWS-32 as a “back-up” gun, but as a very-special-circumstances gun, for specific niches or occasions.

Years ago, before all the small Kel-Tec and LCP and similar came to market, the seecamp 32 was considered the ultimate deep cover gun, back when all similar sized guns were 25 or 22.
I snagged one during the time most were scalper priced and as much as double MSRP. My gun club had an FFL guy who would place his order every year and when they popped up, would show up to our weekly uspsa style match with several, and sell them that day. Once the supply and my available cash were aligned.

Very reliable with the recommended ammo and being a handloader I created reliable cheap practice ammo. Great at the time, but mine is long gone.
limited ammo options, lack of sights and relatively heavy weight for a pocket gun. Might be blasphemous but I consider my ruger LCPII a better option.
Same capacity but in 380, very reliable, not ammo sensitive, has sights, sub 300 bucks, great CS if there are any issues, and spare mags cheap everywhere.

A very good pocket pistol that I've carried daily for about 12 years loaded with Winchester Silvertips in a DeSantis pocket holster. I haven't shot it a lot but will say that it has never jammed one single time. There's just something "substantial" feeling about an all-steel pistol. AFAIK, the Seecamp is the only all-steel (or the only one of a couple) mini-sized autos.

bought a LWS32 in the mid 90's. back then there was a wait list, and a friend got a call he was next, and allowed him to buy 5 guns,
I have one,

no sights, but then again, Mr Seecamp was supposed quoted as saying it was a belly gun, not a target gun or some such quote,

once you realize what it is for, and learn to site by tombstone hold (as in just focus on teh slide and put it where you want the bullet to go) at short distances, it is quite accurate,

it is my mostly daily carry, riding in my front pocket in a small leather holster that keeps it upright,

winchester silver tips work fine

adding to my above post, the trigger is a bit heavy, and was meant to be, by design,

took a few years to get my brother on board, but he has one as well,

I would like to find an older LWS-25,, but one has not crossed my path yet
