Okay, I'm considering switching to the Fuse. How do you carry it? AIWB? w/ weapons light? RDS? What holster?

If AIWB, do you have any issue with the 4.3" barrel? I was holding out for a 4" barrel version, sent an email to Sig and they replied they have no plans.

I certainly appreciate your input.

Just ordered a Fuse over the weekend. I have fired a rental version and really like the fit and feel of the Fuse/

I carry IWB but not appendix. I am used to 4:00 and don’t want to change my set up.
I have had no issues with the fuse thus far. It’s been a good change for me. Additionally, I don’t use a RDS or light. I prefer just the slim frame and irons.

I do iwb around 2-2:30 or so with tlr7sub and eps carry. Hides very nicely though the rear sight has a sharp edge i hit with a file. I like the mirzon with 12s for summer t shirt stuff though it would hide alright with the full grip.

Thanks for answering.

I wouldn’t worry about it in this specific case.

Yeah, isn't it the best selling gun in SIG's history? And, you can make the P365 in any shape or form, because the "gun" is the FCU.

The above posters are 100% right.

P365 is the best selling gun in SIG's History, Millions sold, P365 FUSE is just the biggest sized one, it uses the same frame as the XMacro but with a longer slide

(P365 XMacro also flush fits the same 17 round magazines the FUSE also uses, or uses the 21 round magazines with the extensions).

I doubt the firing pin or extractor are any different from a regular P365.

Once you have the P365 Fuse you more importantly own a P365 FCU - the "GUN" in legal terms as was said.

This means simply remove the FCU from your 365 FUSE frame if you want to make a SIG P365 XMacro/XL/P365X/P365.

The amount of SIG made extra slides/frames/parts and aftermarket frames as well for P365's is pretty impressive, simply put a lot of people have bought P365's and liked them.

I don't think its worth worrying over not getting replacement parts, also with every Classic SIG it also isn't a problem, you just have to be internet-savvy.

(I even got a bunch of stuff for a Mauser M2 recently, it just takes looking)

SIG's warranty is now "forever" so in any case you'd get a replacement or whatever they'll be making in the future Big Grin

Not a very watched interview of Ron Cohen, SIG CEO, from last year's SIG NEXT event where at the 6:00 mark he starts talking about going after the Defense space then segue-ways into the P365 and thatthe FUSE will be a regularly carried duty gun by 2030.

So he's calling it 5+ years in advance the P365 will be more widely adopted as a duty gun. With that said, I didn't think the P365 was going away anytime soon. Add into that the new Sig P365 Flux, new 365-.380, and more vendors making duty holsters for the Macro and Fuse it looks like it is only growing more in adoption.

I'm kinda doubtful that the P365 can hold up to demands of a high-round-count service pistol long term. It's built lighter with much smaller and flimsier components than the P320, and I know there have been quite a few reports of trigger return springs breaking well before the manufacturer's suggested replacement round count. In my experience they're also a little more marginal about returning to battery than the bigger guns, although maybe the Fuse is better about that with it's longer recoil system.

Does anybody here have a high round count P365 (I'm talking thousands)? How is it holding up? Have you had any issues?

I am surprised too it being a slim gun; perhaps it is wrong to assume smaller parts are that much less robust. For the P365 SIG recommends recoil spring assembly should be replaced at 5K round count.

Have heard the trigger bar spring issue, seems to be hit or miss so would hope if there was an issue it has been addressed -- also believe it was intermittent (or just the internet) as it was not an issue for the first few years after the 2018 release. I bought OEM spares which so far have not been needed, springs were made in USA too, not India.

Rey HRH, FWIW the FUSE slide group has no problem functioning with a MACRO lower half. There should be no problem (beyond expense and hassle) if you wanted to put a XL upper half (with a 3.7" barrel) on a FUSE lower half. You might also buy a MACRO and a FUSE grip module if you don't need or want a thumb safety (SIG doesn't make a FUSE grip module that accomodates a thumb safety, and I'm not sure how hard it would be to modify to fit one).

Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge, anyway, there is no 365 slide/barrel combo that gives you a 3.9" or 4" barrel. If Ron Cohen does see the 365 as becoming a popular duty pistol in the next five years, then I'm not sure why SIG won't go ahead and provide a 4" option - a 4" FUSE with no thumb safety might just be the cat's nuts in a lot of ways.

If you can live with a 4.3" barrel but want a thumb safety, the FUSE upper half goes well with the MACRO lower half. IMHO there isn't that much difference in the bulk of the MACRO grip module and that of the FUSE grip module.

I'd say something about holsters, but I don't carry a light on the FUSE upper/MACRO lower combo and I carry OWB when I do, so I've just stuck with the Blade Tech FUSE holster. Which works fine, FWTW.

My fuse has a manual safety so they do make it, unless I'm misunderstanding the above. I pop it off in my summer carry Mirzon because I didnt get the manual safety version but my Fuse frame definately came with manual safety. If you shoot sig an email or hit the website I'm sure you can get a frame with the proper cut.

^^^ I know that was for the OP, but thanks - I hadn't seen them.

ETA: Checked with SIG CS, and they can't find anything in their system. It's possible that they could make something available for LE, but it doesn't exist in their computer FWLTW.

The only version of the fuse with a manual safety that I've seen has been an LE model, Item # SIG W365F-9-BXR3P-MS
That version comes with a P365-XMACRO 9MM MANUAL SAFETY GRIP MODULE - BLACK SKU 8901180.
So it doesn't have the laser-engraved hexagon stippling.

Here is another video that touches on the durability of the P365.
