Not too surprising. I'd like to see them make a bigger thumb safety if they are going to do it. The current one works fine mind you and I never missed but I'd like one big enough to ride. Or atleast the option.

I don't know if the 2.0 improvements are nearly as significant in the Shield as they were in the larger M&Ps. But if I was going to buy a new one after the 2.0s came out, I'd probably go with it.
I wonder if they'll change the baseplate on the extended magazines like they did on the .45, that spacer just floating there was kind of cheesy on the 9mm.

I'm more than satisfied with my 1.0 Shield. In MA we got stuck with the 10# trigger, really 12#. So, in with the Apex carry kit. Then on with the Hogue beavertail Hogue rubber HandAll grip and the gun is amazing. So good I bought a second one.
Great carry gun.
