Anyone have any experience using the S&W M&P 5.7 pistol with a suppressor? My concern is that the threading isn’t on the barrel itself, but on the sleeve that the barrel rides inside of. Although the barrel has multiple rings to align itself inside of the sleeve, it’s not a tight fit because the barrel rotates and moves inside of the sleeve as part of the unlocking process. It seems like it’s not possible for the barrel to be exactly concentric with the sleeve.

I’ve already had an endcap strike with 5.7 on my Rugged Oculus with a CMMG rifle, but attributed that to it starting to come unscrewed. I did check with an alignment rod, and I’m not getting a warm and fuzzy as it seems pretty close.

Any experiences?
