I recently found a P225 at my LGS for a decent price, so I put it on lay-a-way as soon as I saw it. I just picked it up today. The pistol is in beautiful shape and looks darn near brand new. There was no box, but it did come with four factory mags! The previous owner had installed a nice set of Tru-Glo sights on it. The date code (KA) puts it being made in 1990.

Yeah, you're going to enjoy that. Your gun dealer is to be commended for not separating the pistol from those extra magazines.

The shop manager is a buddy of mine, so he took care of meSmile

I have been looking at factory P225 mags and they are pretty pricey!

Those are early SIG xrays sights made by Tru-Glo. Very nice purchase.

Yep, that's a great pickup, and the extra mags are some serious icing on the cake! You're going to enjoy that gun.

This is kind of a walk down memory lane for me. Back in the mid-80's I carried a P226 when I was a LEO in uniform.

I had a P225 as my off duty sidearm, which was perfect as they both had the same manual of armsSmile

I sold both the P225 and the P226 when the P228 came out and I just had to have one!

I recently gave my son the P228, so I had been keeping my eye open for a replacement.

Welcome Brother. The 225 was my 1st Sig purchase 25-years ago - a new "AA" (2000). My favorite handgun to this day.

Very sweet pickup. Especially with the 4 mags and the SRT. Makes for some great double taps!

Mic,

I have an extra 225 owners manual if you didn't get one with the pistol. It's one of the combo German-English ones with the fold out parts diagram in the back.

99% condition.

Shoot me an email if you need one.

Beautiful gun sir! To me there's just some thing about that squared off trigger guard, that gives the impression that P225's punch above their weight. I think it's just bad ass!

I say the every time I see a P225 thread, but in an age of micro 9's, if I still lived in Massachusetts, I'd have kept my P225 that I bought in the late 90's, added one or two more, and they would be my concealed carry guns.

I got a chance to shoot the P225 on some steel knock down targets today…she shoots like a champ! That Hi-Viz green front sight really popsSmile

I have one mag that will only take 7 rounds, so I need to see what is up with that, but other than that, she sure rings the steel!
