Being a LEO and wanting things to stay familiar, my daily carry gun was usually my back up while on duty: 1991-started with a PPK or PPKs ? went to P230/232 for a while. ? went to J frames currently mostly a G43 or still carry my SW 442 If going somewhere special and feel like I need more firepower I will still pull out my P228 or G17 (duty gun) but as I live in shorts/jeans and T shirts here the smaller guns are easier to conceal so are more frequently carried.

A Colt Government Model since that is all I had. G23 G27 Various compact single stacks which seemed too small for waistband but printed in a pocket. Now mostly S&W Air Lite Ti J-frame in a pocket. If I feel like having more firepower it's back to the G27 or the P30. “That’s what.” - She
