John's avatar was of Michael Chicklis as Vic Mackey with his 4506.

RIP John.

That’s a kick in the crotch. I first met him over on the Smith & Wesson forum talking about how Sig could produce hammer fired guns and embrace the newer striker guns, but the current S&W has become a shell of its former self.

RIP pal. You’ll be missed.

Very sad to hear. Way too young to depart.
My condolences to his family.

Wow, this was not what I wanted to see when I logged on the forum. 18DAI was such a fixture here. I never met him in person but he always came across as a great guy. He will truly be missed. Prayers for him and his family.

Terrible news. I only knew him by his screen name, but I recognized it immediately in the thread title. Very sad to hear this.

For some reason I always thought he was a former Green Beret 18D.

Either way, I agree...gone too soon. RIP.
