I am so sorry for your loss. I am also a longtime member of the previously mentioned Smith and Wesson forum. I always attempted to read all of your father’s posts there. He was truly an amazing expert on 3rd generation S&W pistols that I was interested in. He would take the time to answer even questions from a novice S&W owner like I was originally. I always appreciated his input and overall knowledge.

I too have lost my dad and miss him very much. Bless you In your journey to connect through his writings. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

We are family here Katie. I think when you go through and read your father's posts you will see how this is a forum like no other place on the internet and you have a chance to see how much he was valued here.

In the last few years I have not been as into guns or shooting as much, I still stop here and read something a couple times a day. There are discussions about everything under the sun.

Since he was family, by extension you are family. Hopefully you stick around after you finish reading his posts.

Katie, being a new member here you won't be able to see the email addresses in members' public profiles. (That's an anti-scam measure.)

Instead: Put your email address in your public profile so established members can reach out to you.

To add an email address to your public profile page, which only members registered on or before 03/22/2022 can access: Click Go -> Personal Zone -> Profile -> View/Edit Complete Profile, put a valid email address in the Display Email field, then click Save at the bottom of the page.

To avoid being scammed (and survivors are a prime scammer target): If somebody does email you, claiming to be such-and-such a SIGforum member, best to confirm it with them here in this thread.
