Hey everyone.

I'm putting this under SIG Pistols because I figure it gets the most traffic. Hope no one minds.

I'm wondering if anybody has any information about Ryan Grizzle of CountryBoy Leather/Holsters.

I live in north Georgia, and because of that geography I got to know Ryan and his wife Kay fairly well.

But its been several years since I've seen him. You know how things go sometimes. Been busy.

I was looking just now to get back in touch with him, and his web site seems to be gone.

And I looked up his profile here and he hasn't posted, that I can determine, since October of '18, couple of years.

It's too late to call tonight.
I could tomorrow, but in the meantime I just thought I'd inquire here if anyone had any information about him.

Much obliged for any word.

James DeBardelaben

I was just looking at his website a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully it’s just a temporary thing. Please keep us posted.

Following the website link on his Instagram gets me a directory of files including a folder called "old2021" that was last modified today. My money is on new website coming.

I appreciate the initial information, thanks.

I'm an old geezer who doesn't "do" Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/etc. so any leads from those sources would be beyond me.

Still sorta curious why no SIGforum posts in the last 2+ years. I seem to remember (from back when I used to be more active :sadfaceSmile that he used to be real active here.

It'll all sort out directly. Continuing thanks for any/all info.

James

I just received some belt loops from him today for my holster.
He is doing fine and still doing great work.

Hey Bruce, thanks!

If Ryan is hard at work and well,
and my only problem is an eCommunications glitch of some sort,
then I am a happy camper.

I will get in touch and catch up with him directly.

Thanks again, and to all.

James

P.S. I love the SIGforum!

I ordered a holster for my new HKP30 about a month ago and talked to Ryan for a bit, and than Kay about the particulars.

They are good people to deal with.

I just ordered a holster from Ryan and Kay on 02/26/21 but noticed their link was not responding this morning. I'm sure it's an internet glitch. Call them, they may not even know.

FYI, Ryan's link is working again. He's added a nice P365 holster "in stock and ready to ship". Check it out.

19 weeks backlogged! Sounds like they're doing great. I've had Ryan make a holster and mag pouch for me and they were top notch.

Ryan offers an expedited service. The wait is excruciating otherwise.

The wait is worth it. I have two of his SSR's, one for my P938, and one for my CZ 2075 RAMI BD. He also just made a special Paddle Holster for my P938. His superb workmanship makes the wait bearable.

He is making a holster for me right now. Ordered it a few months ago. A pleasure to deal with.

No doubt the wait is worth it. He's made two previous holsters for me. I'm willing to pay the expedited charge and cut the wait time significantly. He'll be building a 'Working Man' for me this week. Wink

So relieved to learn that Ryan is okay. Besides being a terrific holster maker, Ryan is a super nice guy and it's always a pleasure to deal with him.

Definitely well worth the wait. When I still carried OWB, I liked his holsters.

Just sent a knife to him for a sheath. I already have belts and holsters from him and am very happy with them.
