Not a two-tone guy myself, but I guess someone in French procurement likes it:

75,000 Glocks. That is a decent sized order Smile

I hope this means we might see some surplus MAC 50 pistols.

Or their version of the Beretta:

The French military adopted a modified version of the 92F with a decocking-only lever as the PAMAS G1. These pistols have tellurium in the slide, making the steel brittle and as such only have a service life of approximately 6,000 rounds.

As Glocks go it’s a pretty handsome pistol. Didn’t even know Glock did the “glow in the dark” sight thing.

It’s a good choice, IMO. Good gun for the tasks at hand.

The G17 two-tone colors appear to match their camo in the pics. Those French fashion hounds... Cool

If you are wearing a uniform, there's nothing better than a Gen 5 G17. (except, maybe, a 226)

I'm not French or affiliated with anything French, but Jesus this joke is so tired. Is this really necessary in 2020? I mean, what's the value added here?

There isn’t any value to it...nor reality either.

That’s a nice looking pistol. I’d like to have one. Hope they are drop safe since they are going to the French. Wink

I can’t tell for sure but is the half moon cut gone?

I am actually surprised they have gone pretty much completely to non domestic arms. The French have a pretty long history making some pretty decent domestic arms and arming their country with them.

Sorry but I have disdain for the French since every one I’ve ever met acts like they smell something when they encounter an American...unless they need us to liberate their country.
