New holster for my P238

bald1New holster for my P238
Recently had a thread about holster clips suitable for beltless pants. The Ulticlip was an overwhelming suggestion.
But I ended up popping for a Blackhawk leather IWB holster with a conventional belt clip. Should the clip prove to not be optimal, it can easily be replaced with a Ulticlip.

Holsters clockwise from the top left leather (they've been acquired over the years since buying the P238 in 2010):
RKBA pocket holster, Blackhawk CQC 421433BN-R holster, Remora OWB-2ART, Remora pocket magazine pouch, Remora "No Clip" IWB #2P-SS PlusMag holster.
Magazines (L-R): 2x Colt Mustang Metaform 6 round, 3x Sig X-Grip 7 round extended, 3x Sig flush 6 round
The RKBA fully covers the trigger and is great with roughhide out on the back keeping it secure in the pocket when drawing. The Remora OWB is interesting in that the entire entire back of the holster is a velcro flap that allows for varying cants on your belt. Of course reholstering with any of the Remoras is problematic as the holsters collapse. That said the Remora clipless IWB with integral magazine pouch and sweat shield has seen a lot of use over the last decade as has the RKBA piece.
Various types of 380 ammo on hand:
Better shot of the new rig. Grips are The Finer Grain (Sarge) Mallee Burl gloss finished.

SigFanThat looks like a very nice rig, and I really like those grips.

SSAreGreatDo you carry the 238 in Condition 1, cocked and locked? If yes, do you trust pistol not to discharge

Absolutely. Been carrying 1911s and BHPs for decades in Condition One. The P238 is just as safe.
Any concerns about a design related discharge from the P238 in Condition One are totally unfounded and have been the subject of threads here and elsewhere. The pistol is safely designed period.
If you're uncomfortable with Condition One, buy and carry a different design.

gwmacThe P238 has a manual safety. It's as safe as a real 1911.

Absolutely.
I just don't "get" those who seem compelled to ask if a cocked hammer Condition One firearm is safe.
That plus here it became a huge thread drift. <sigh>

And an automatic firing pin safety.
The P238 is a sweet little pistol. Colt gets most of the credit for its design, but SIG gets the credit for its quality.
Don’t argue with fools.
