Since these have been out for, God help me where did that time go , a fairly long time now do any of you have any reasonably high round count guns? Not so much the Macro or Fuse or Horse Drawn version that is coming out etc. just the small guys so to speak. What are your thoughts as far as component durability, springs, the modular trigger group, mags, finish etc. after more extended use? I am not really concerned with if you were able to drive over it with a 4x4 or throw it at a cinderblock enough times to shatter the concrete or shoot it with syrup and cinnamon mixed into the action, just normal every day shooting/use/carry etc. As always thank you, the information is always extremely valuable to me so if I forget to thank folks for any any specific replies rest assured I do appreciate it. Take care, shoot safe, Chris "Guns are tools. The only weapon ever created was man."

My original 3 digit serial (ok there's an A and a bunch of zeros ahead of the 3 digits) P365 has around 6K rounds through it with zero failures since about round 200. When I first got it (very early release) it did have the return to battery issue. I sent it to Sig, they replaced the Recoil Spring Assembly (RSA) and the barrel. It had about 200rds through it at that point. Since then I haven't had a single failure. I have replaced the RSA twice as Sig says to replace them at certain intervals. Both times I replaced it with a factory RSA. Sometimes, you gotta roll the hard six

Yes, I know of a few. The only thing at all that is a concern for me is the trigger bar spring. I don't know what Sig's replacement schedule for it is, but I would treat it as disposable and replace it after no more than 5000 rounds. I've seen two occurrences of failures of that part. If you notice, you'll see Sig includes that part (or used to) with many OEM replacement or add-on parts. I believe they also sell them as a 3-pack for $15 (or used to). I have no idea but based on seeing it happen myself, and it being a known and somewhat broad issue if you do some basic searching, I wonder if they had a quality issue at some point. ETA: Both of the breakages I saw were with P365 models that were manufactured within the first 24 months of Sig introducing the P365 for the first time.

I bought a couple 365s 12-14 months after they came out. Had to wear them in a little, then had no trouble after that until last year. A little after 5k rounds one suffered a broken extractor, which sig took care of on their dime. They had to replace the slide as the new extractor will not fit the older slides. New slides are slightly thicker/beefier/heavier. The other 365 has around 7k, no issues. Not exactly high round count, but I have no real doubts or concerns they can go much further. When you shoot enough, you see failures of all sorts now and then.

Thanks all 5000-10000 rounds is what I was looking for not 30,000+ per se. Chris "Guns are tools. The only weapon ever created was man."
