I have a few 21 round magazines and they have different base plates. Both mags are made in Italy, however one has a base plate that is more contured to the grip and thicker while the other is more squared and thinner. Which ones is the most current? Why the change? Mag#1 like this one https://www.sigsauer.com/store...gazine-extended.html MAG#2 like this one https://www.topgunsupply.com/s...tended-magazine.html New question. Can the newer 17 round base plates and inserts be purchased or do I have to buy all new magazines? I a looking for the ones that work with the X-series grip modules. I called Sig today. According to customer service they should start showing up on the web store soon. This message has been edited. Last edited by: am94pm,

http://www.osagecountyguns.com...floor-plate-updates/ If you don't need them, you can usually find someone in the classifieds to trade your newer squared plates for their older oval ones.

Second one is newest. The top is tapered so they fit in the x5 magwells X-Carry (ACRO & DPP slides), X5 x2 (w/ DPPs, gas pedals, Springer guide rods)

Thanks guys. I believe I am settling on the X-Carry grip module for my 320. So I am fine with the newer magazine. I just wanted to make sure before I ordered more. I do not want to get the wrong ones.
