New Keltec PR57 5.7x28mm pistol NO MAGAZINE !!!>>>
Interesting design. I would think this would make an excellent low recoil inexpensive gun with 20 rounds. MSRP $399. Nice that Keltec is forward thinking and giving people that live in so called high capacity magazine ban states a choice. God Bless !!!

400 dollars for the pistol. Coincidentally, that's the same price as a box of 5.7

Eventually I am guessing, street price will probably go down to $300. God Bless

So they had the same features in a 1911 Steyr-Hahn.
Will I get one? Prolly not anytime soon.
Good to see they are making options available for those who want them or find the design to be an advantage depending on their need.

Is it good? Do I like it? Not sure yet. I do like the innovation of bringing back an old idea to circumvent restrictive laws.

It's a KelTec and a 5.7, so there's two reasons I won't be buying one, but I give them props for thinking outside the box.
Give it a year and there will be a S&W version with slightly different texture pattern and a more expensive logo.

Well they are made in Florida, USA, that is a big plus, it's an interesting pistol and it will be interesting to see how ban states with mag limits figure out how to deal with it's design and capacity.

I want one with a threaded barrel. You have to hand it to Kel-tec, they are creative.

It is nice to see more and more manufacturers making guns in that caliber. Prices have come down quite a bit and rival most revolver factory ammo cost. Fiocchi makes a few different grain/types of ammo with 50 rounds only costing around $22/box. Mind you, I prefer to carry something in a 9mm variety but I have a couple guns in the 5.7 x28 caliber and even FN mag prices are getting much better and cheaper than even Glock mags.

Nice read on Rotating barrels, the history and design over the years.
I love stupid guns, I'm absolutely going to get one.

They have a lovely retail section and their customer service people are wonderful. Parking is a bit cramped.
Does the PR57 *ping* after the last shot?

I've had three KelTec guns I still have two of them. I have a KS7 pump 12ga and I love it, it's a lot of fun and quite effective. I'll never part with my little P32 32acp it has never failed in any way. I got rid of a jamamatic PF9 great gun to slip in a back pocket but mine didn't work. This PR57 looks very interesting I like fun to shoot guns (unlike my NAA Guardian 32acp ouch!!!)

I’m curious how you load the +1 in a top load gun.

A KT P11 was my first firearm purchase, still have it, though it mostly lives in the safe. Friend has a KS7, fun isn't quite the word I'd use for it. It has a pretty solid thump with anything more than bird shot.

Yes I agree the KS7 has a very noticeable thump. I don't shoot it much but just enough to know what to expect. I keep a 7 1/2 as first round followed by two #4 buck the rest OO I hope the first 7 1/2 is enough.
