I highly recommend Robert The SigArmorer. He holds his own with anyone doing work today.
His turnaround times are honest and extremely fast.
I know him personally and over the years recommended his work to many gun enthusiast and LEO. I have never had anyone come back to me with regrets or issues of any kind that were not resolved.
He will work with you to workout the best type of work that meets your needs.
I know he was doing his action work on several of the Sig Team shooters at one time with winning results. I have not kept up with those members results in a while though.
His work is honest and reasonable with on time completion estimates.

I’m unsure of the source of his work, and never really got a good read of his character.

However, I would rather vote democrat than do business with anyone associated with Burke.

jljones, if you're going to impugn the man's character you need to speak plainly. It's not right for you to make vague statements of such a nature.

Wow. I, and many people on the forum, say the polar opposite. I happen to know some inside details on some particular things where someone really tried to fuck Mr. Burke over. Actually, several people. People quite upset that there is competition in the marketplace and wanted a monopoly. But I’m not going to air dirty laundry and defame either person that did it either. I don’t think Robert ever said anything publicly about either situation and I didn’t either.

Oh well, many of us have used Burke’s service on our firearms and I don’t think I have ever heard a single complaint in 15 years. I have a pistol there for sight installation and a long gun he is working on for me and will continue to do business with him, and highly value his work. He is a master craftsman.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

This would be helpful.

I was lucky enough to have Ernest Langdon do my Sig P220ST after another "smith" wasted my time and money doing the trigger.
I don't think Ernie still does Sigs after Sig fucked him over.

And we’re not going to get any clarification, at least not on the open forum. Been asked before, when jljones started blasting away at TSA just like he did here. Cricket. He can do whatever he wants, of course, but to me, doing what he does like that serves to help no other members. It’s like you go on Yelp, give one star and just write, “If I could give zero star, I would”. Totally useless rant.

I agree with Q, no clarification from the jones fellow once again.

I've had 5 or 6 pistols through Robert's shop over 10 years. All great, fair price and a lot of good conversation with Robert Burke. Too many stories to tell but what a great smith.

My lack of a further reply in this thread is due to thinking about the right way to proceed. I sent Para an email and laid out the whys.

His reply gave me a lot to think about. Para in the past could be a strong flavor. However, he sent me a very kind reply. A very genuine reply. And it gave me pause.

To paraphrase he said that I wasn’t doing the current membership any favors by acting this way. And basically, I needed to lay the facts out, let members decide for themselves or walk away from the subject.

And, of course, he is correct. Based on that, I have decided to walk away from the topic with a brief explanation. The offense I couldn’t forgive occurred on this forum probably 15 years ago. Maybe longer. There is no proof that it occurred other than in the heads of those that were here at that time. It’s ancient history. Ancient history that likely no one, to include Burke, cares about any longer. Why do I? Why am I holding a grudge over something that didn’t even involve me. It enough that I still would not do business with him today. There are too many alternatives these days. But, it isn’t enough that I should be posting such strong negativity. It is not doing the forum membership any favors by holding childish grudges over things that occurred so long ago.

Reading your complete post, I get the impression that your dislike of Mr. Burke has nothing to do with the quality of his work. Is that correct? Or do I misunderstand what you wrote?

Wow! That bold part baffles me even more. It didn’t involve you, yet you blasted him I counted at least in three separate threads over the last few years, the worst one in this thread. You don’t even know Gerry Ritacco, yet you essentially indicted anyone associated with Burke. And here I thought he screwed you personally with shoddy works and refused to fix it.

But thanks for finally walking away from this.

Doc, that was the one thing I personally witnessed. Which made everything else I was told over the years plausible that happened to friends of mine.

Based upon that, it’s a fair assessment.

But, none the less, I created a shit tornado, I’m responsible for it, and I’m not dragging others into it for some parochial sense of loyalty on a topic that likely no one even cares about any longer. It was wrong of me to have went any further than my first post, and I will not do it again.

All I know of Robert’s works was from a very generous karma by Q.
My P225 is SWEET after Robert did his work on it.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his work on any SIG. A very small sample size of one but nothing from that work would end up my not recommending his expertise.
