A friend of mine put together a Poly 80 G26 with a Brownells pre-milled slide for a Holosun red dot. He lent it to me for several weeks and I had the chance to shoot it several times.
First - love the Poly 80 G26 frame, no rear grip hump. Perfect for me, only 26 that I have ever really liked is the one that I have currently, it has a grip reduction and stippling job that removes the rear grip hump. I lucked into it at my indoor range's used case.
The red dot, I haven't really spent a lot of time with them, only a handful of occasions really. I can see that it will take a bit of a learning curve, but I can see (

)the benefit of using one as my eyes continue to deteriorate.
I just picked up the parts for a 26 frame and will be looking to eventually pick up a Poly 80 G26 frame too. I am really thinking of setting it up with a red dot. If not, then I will most likely pick up a MR920 and set it up with a red dot.
