Will do, thanks.
Now all I need is to be able to see that front sight.
/looks around for some white crayon to rub on the front sight/
These early models were not made for older model gents.
After decades of wearing contacts, I've switched to glasses and now I understand what many have been talking about. Big Grin Frown
This has to be the worst front sight I have encountered.

Or I haven't shot enough old military weapons.

Dare I say, the only problem I’ve ever encountered with any of John M. Browning’s designs is that tiny front sight!
The early models of the 1911’s, Colt 1903’ and the Colt Pocket Autos as well!

Ya can’t see the damn thing!

I hope he had excellent vision in his years after 45, because that would be the only explanation.

Tiny sights were a curse of all old weapons.

Well, I had planned some range time today with my week ago acquired T Series. Notice I said “planned”.

I’m awaiting a kidney stone removal in a couple hours, unplanned event. Been in the hospital since about 5 A.M.

I had a beautiful forged frame mark III 9mm once upon a time, I tried to love that gun but the trigger reach was just way too short for my hands and everything about the CZ 75 SA just feels much better to me. I ended up selling it, but I also have a FN mark III .40 caliber that I really like shooting once in a while oddly enough with the same trigger reach.

"Educational, was it not? I'll wager more than a few people learned a thing or two."

Actually yes, thank you: "Hi-Power"....marketing term that stuck... Also, don't poke bears with sticks.

30 years ago, I bought a nice T series with its leather pouch. After it bit me 3 times, it got moved on. Last year I bought a SA35 - it didn't bite; now starting to appreciate the BHP.

I finally had time to pick mine up today. Between work and kids it will probably be a few weeks before I get to shoot it but I’m definitely happy to have one. I will probably still pick up a Springfield or Girsan at some point but I used to work for a Belgian company and have a lot of Belgian friends that regularly visit the U.S. and always wanted a gun made in their country to let them shoot. The serial number makes mine a 1994 production.

It’s definitely used and has some wear marks but nothing excessive. Mine also has night sights installed, and while dead, they are easy to see. It’s nothing more than a range toy to me so I doubt I’ll replace them.

Great thread, dsiets!

The photos, literary references and diagrams were interesting and informative, and the nomenclature Browning hype hour was entertaining while it lasted.

I have put more rounds through the P35 than any other handgun. It is just about my favorite (along with the SIG P220 Series of guns.)
