Sig P320 X5 Legion vs CZ75 SP01 Tactical
About to pick up a new range toy. Narrowed it down to the (2) in the title. Anyone have any experience with either or any opinions?

Thanks

No experience with the X5 beyond handling but it seems to me that that is much more oriented towards competition, or at least leans more that way. Spectacular trigger especially for a striker gun.

The SP01 Tactical, which I do have experience with, is much more big honking duty/repel boarders gun so to speak. Great shooter but much more service pistol feeling.

Now with a few drop in parts or by going Shadow 2 the SP01 seems to make a dandy competitive gun. It’s weight and bore axis really make it a breeze to shoot well and fast even in stock form.

All in all seems to all be fruit but a little apples to oranges imo.

This is a write up about my Urban Grey SP01 and it holds true for the regular tactical as well.

I love 320’s and CZ’s. Apples and oranges though my man. You would have had to work hard to pick further extremes. For vp mop the Legion is a great deal out of box. Works fine for HD as well.

To me it’s whether you like striker vs hammer.

I realize this might be an auto-correct/fat finger but what’s VP MOP? I mean it’s sounds plausibly gunlike. Smile. Victory Pistol - Maximum overall potential. Razz

I have both.
Love 'em both.

Don't get the Tactical.
Get the Safety model.
You'll thank me if you ever want to hotrod the trigger on that CZ.

Thanks for the replies.
I’m looking for something that will serve well both at the range and on the nightstand. I don’t have much experience with DA/SA, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be willing to learn. I have a 320 and 365XL currently.
