It has been a while since I have seen the "stupid Marketing gimmick", "old days Sig better than the crap Sig is putting out now" , "German / W. German geniuses vs. stupid Cohen... etc.",types trying to stir the pot on this forum.
If you don't like it don't buy it, that is all. I don't like it, but I hope it will sell well and Sig USA stays profitable and continues to make firearms that people desire and buy.

Uuuuuh. I've never been in a mob before. And last I checked we are entitled to our opinions. thye just came out with a big pr push that allows you to customize the 320 how you lik4e it and then they come out with another customized pistol. Its a bit underwhelming.

The armchair based, marketing and firearms experts, the "bash Sig Exeter / Cohen" mob, are at it and will continue to do what they do best... bashing Sig, Cohen, me, whatever.

There is a big difference between criticizing and bashing. If you don't know what that difference is, go and educate yourself.

As I said, I don't like and will not buy it. Other people may or may not like and buy it. If it sells well, Sig will keep make it, if not, it will be retired.

Sig Exeter NH is not perfect, nobody is. They makes mistakes, wrong marketing decisions, faulty or weird looking designs, etc. Nobody denies it. Within reason, that is expected from a healthy business.

There is a big difference between criticizing and bashing. If you don't know what that difference is, go and educate yourself.

However the reality is that Sig Exeter NH is making guns that governments, LEO agencies and the general public wants and BUY. Sig is flourishing and makes money. There is no better proof that they do the right thing, than that.

The German arm of the company is gone, apparently due to local policies, bad management, etc. who knows. Swiss Sig is still there, but a significant if not the most significant chunk of the money L&O is making out of the Sig brand comes from Exeter, NH.

Since 1990, Sig USA is expending its facilities and line of products, innovates, designs and manufacture high quality firearms, ammo and optics, creates American jobs, currently directly and indirectly employing thousand of American workers.

In an extremely competitive environment, Sig Exeter NH won prestigious US Government contracts like M17/M18,NGSW, M4 rifle scopes, 300 Win Mag. sniper rifle ammo, etc.
In the same highly competitive market, with many venerable US firearms brands disappearing or struggling to survive, Sig sells larger then ever numbers of firearms, optics, ammo and accessories to the American and international gun enthusiasts and Law Enforcement Agencies.

Sig is one of the most prestigious and recognizable firearm brand in the world with Sig USA successfully playing the crucial role.

At least with this pistol we won't be hearing from folks complaining about the poor coating coming off from holster wear.

Remember, this is the same company that named guns Mosquito (a disease-carrying pest), Nightmare and Revolution (one I had was certainly revolting).

They don't make Dude Whipes for no reason.

Hopefully it finds a niche group of buyers better than the similarly distressed 'We The People' campaign pistol did. We only ordered four of those SIG 1911s but they did for most of their time here was sit unsold in the case and our vault. It took a pandemic buying frenzy to finally get those blasted things to move.

And no, I didn't order any of these fake-wear things for the shop. Not enough folks in our customer base who wear pre-worn, ripped jeans.

When Sig introduced the Legion line, I initially thought it was a marketing ploy. After researching the new gun, I was impressed, however, with the improvements they made, and ended up buying a 226 SAO.

No, I have nothing to do with Sig company, not working there, never did. I have a single Sig made gun, safe queen, bought some sold almost all as they didn't fit my needs.

I just can't stand the "Sig Exeter / Cohen bashing mob" on this form.

There is no one post on this string of comments that attempts to make a serious argument against the fact the Sig Exeter NH is a successful company. They do the right thing, most of the time, sell tons of firearms, ammo and accessories, make money,expand facilities hire people... that is called successful business strategy, design, manufacturing marketing,etc.
You and I may not like what they make but it seems that there are lots firearms enthusiasts, Law Enforcement Agencies and Federal Government Agencies that like, want and buy Sig Exeter made firearms, ammo and accessories, otherwise it would have been no Sig USA.
