Any P320 AXG Full Size Owners? Login/Join

Just curious if there were any P320 AXG Full Size (W320AXGF-9-BXR3-R2) owners who have any feedback on this model that they'd care to share?

I am picking mine up tomorrow, with my MIL/LE pricing it was quite reasonable.

I haven't seen any reviews of this variation.

Thanks

I have one of the non-LE versions. I'd say there's nothing special or exceptional about it but I don't say that as a negative. The P320's I have just work. I've never been a fan of full size pistols in general but somehow I now have a few full size P320's. Of all the P320's I've owned and / or shot I think the full size are the best by a good amount. The recoil feels softer than any of the other models which I would guess is based on the longer recoil assembly and how it has more space to absorb the energy. They just stay on target and are pleasant to shoot. The R2 models get you the most features with dovetail sights separate from the optic mounting as well as additional holes for RMR pattern optics. If using RMR pattern optics make sure to use a filler plate to take up the gap where the larger footprint of a Deltapoint Pro or Romeo 1 Pro was originally intended. I'm also a fan of the AXG grip modules that feel very similar to a P226 and you have a few different grip size options with panels from Sig, Hogue, and others.

I have a 320 AXGF-9-BXR3-PRO-R2, perhaps slightly different than your pistol (Pro). I have the Romeo 1Pro on it and like shooting it a lot. I got it because of the metal frame. Unlike the P365AXG Legion, the trigger seems fine to me.

Thanks to all that replied.

I picked up my new P320 AXG Full size the other day and have given it a cleaning and lube. I was surprised to see the "born on" date in the summer of 2021. The three Italian MecGar magazines are a nice touch.

As a long time "Classic" SIG owner I am trying to warm up to the P320 series pistols. I do find the AXG frames more acceptable. It feels a little chunky compared to my P226.

If we can get a break in the weather this weekend, I'll get it out to the range for a couple of hundred rounds of S&B 124 gr. for testing.

Happy Friday.

reading your post is it the trigger on the 365 legion you don't care for?

Yes, the 365 Legion. The 320 is fine. The 365 is in for some trigger work. Looking to improve the repeatability of the pull.
