It's 2020 people.
This has been a fun SIG site for a long time but I think it's long overdue that the Host of the sight add the functionality to post pictures without the need to go through the tedious and often futile task of finding some OTHER third party sight to host pictures.

cslingerCuz you know massive amounts of storage for images is dirt cheap, especially for a privately owned forum that doesn’t take ad revenue.
YEA what’s a 10 or 20 grand more?
Seriously though forums require a huge amount of bandwidth and files and photos add to that IMMENSELY.

Look around. Do you see any ads? This forum is
privately funded. Do you have any idea at all how much more it would cost for storage and bandwidth fees in order to be able to host member photos? Do you want to be charged a fee to use this site? Do you want to have flashing banner ads all over the place? You don't have a clue what it costs to run a place like this without any sponsors. Really, you don't. The bitching you're doing is clear proof of that.
Anything else you want to lecture "the host" about? If so, just be consistent and make sure you don't know fuck about it.

In the early Internet days, every ISP account came with some personal web space. I know that Bell South used to give me 25 meg.
I know it is not much, but check your ISP agreement. This might be a non-issue
That Bell South 25 MEG took care of me until I ended up with my own web presence which is what I have used for the last ten years or so to host my own images
The beauty of having it on your own space is that the picture ALWAYS loads, no picture company bandwidth messages
