Ronin101FYI Aim Surplus has Sig 226 40 Dak
This thread has turned into quite the informational thread. I have always wanted to try the DAK trigger but I think my gun buying days are coming to an end!!

1lowlifeI've owned a couple of DAK Sigs, I liked them, but ultimately sold them when my Glock sickness started.
The good thing about them is that they are fairly easily converted to DA/SA if the DAK doesn't work for you.
Gen 2 P229 SAS, work done by CCR.
New
Swapped to DA/SA
Back to DAK
Gen 1 P239 SAS, work done by CCR.

Swapped to DA/SA
Back to DAK
Funny I always ended up converting back to DAK and selling the DA/SA parts
Matrix Precision Arms sells a kit to do the DAK to DA/SA conversion, as Sig parts are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
Matrix Precision Arms Parts to Convert DAK P226, P228, or P229 to DA/SAI ended up purchasing their DAO to DA/SA kit in case my kids wanted to convert my DOA P226 when I'm gone.

As others stated, if that pistol in the OP was a 9mm, I would have already ordered one..

sigarms229Count me as another that can't stand the Dak trigger.
I much prefer DA/SA or even the old school DAO.

whisky22I have purchased a few DAKs over the past few years. The shorter heavier pull to me seems more solid and predictable allowing for better accuracy. I rarely use the lighter long first pull. But I may be in the minority.
