I've been told by a couple of local gun stores that they can order them.

Is there a difference in the FDE finish between the standard scorpion and emperor scorpion? The emperor FDE looks darker to my eyes but it could be the black grips playing tricks on me.

The Emperor Scorpion is definitely darker in the 1911 version. It is more of a dark bronze. Hard to tell exactly from the photos, but I would hope it would be the same finish used on the 1911 version.
