Have a couple of Norwegian Krag actions that I have always to intended to build up into sporters. Probably been dang near 50 years. Also had a Lee-Enfield #1 Mk 5, was "sporterized" into a $50 truck gun. Sold it last year to a friend who is restoring it to mil configuration, at great cost. Let us not get off on the boat I have been building for 6 or 7 years....

I found with custom work and custom built guns, you start off this way. If you do it enough, the waiting can end up being the best part. _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911.

The majority of my shoulder arms I would consider "unfinished projects," since I've got optics, white lights, various accessories to put on them, ammo to acquire and test, et cetera. Problem is I keep getting distracted by the latest shiny thing... ---------------------------------------- Death smiles at us all. Be sure you smile back.

I have an "M16"A1 upper and shorty triangular handguards that I hastily bought with dreams of building an XM607 clone. Boy, did I fail to check how deep the water is before jumping in. Getting a good replica of the moderator? Pfft. Getting a stock? Yowza. _________________________________________ Dei. Familia. Patria. Victoria. Don't back up, don't back down.

Perpetual projects around here ... Gun, bike, car, house Nothing wrong with that as long as you're occasionally completing one.

Nah...I'm kinda compulsive neurotic on projects. Once I start, I keep going until it's finished. Hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, civil war, asteroids, munchkin attacks don't stop me. I keep going until it's finished. On the other hand, I'm terrible regarding the aftermath of a project. Cleaning up, putting tools back, etc. Probably some kind of genetic deficiency. ______________________ An expert is one who knows more and more about less and less until he knows absolutely everything about nothing. --Nicholas Murray Butler
