Has anyone had a pistol barrel threaded?
I have a suppressor that will hopefully be out of jail soon. I have one .22 pistol to put it on but I also have a non-threaded Ruger 22/45 that I love and would like to use it on that as well. It looks like having the barrel threaded and front sight set back is ~$150….a lot cheaper than aftermarket barrels or a new gun.

Just wondering if anyone has had good or bad luck getting one threaded.

This guy has threaded many barrels for me.
Highly recommended.

That looks great. I came across that page while researching. I’ll give them a hard look if I do this.

I had Allegheny do a Beretta 92 barrel and ADCO extended a thread a 1911 barrel.

Not minority enough!

Local gunsmith threaded my Mk III for me. I think he charged me $30 or so.

Another vote for JP Grips. He threaded my 22/45 quite a few years back and it has had many rounds through it with a couple of different cans since.

He does great work.
